I learned that space and area of where the portrait is taken is key to a successful portrait. I elaborated with my partners when getting the perfect pose and it was very helpful. We used the reflector multiple times and it was very effective as it added a perfect glow of lighting. I specifically used the spot healing brush to rid of any extra blemishes. JC Penny Portrait studios uses portrait photographers. JC penny management hires them and they usually make $8-12 per hour. The average charge for taking someones portrait is from $250-500.

The hardest working students are the student’s athletes. From morning practices, to school for eight hours, then the weight room, and after school shoot around for 2 hours. That’s a full day. In this photograph these two student athlete basketball players are studying for a test and doing homework they didn’t have time for after practice. In hours they’ll be competing in the game they love so much. However, they know the only way to succeed is getting an education. All the talent and ability to play basketball will only go so far. To get that scholarship and continue their careers and further their education, it requires going to the library before school and taking that extra time to get good grades. The life lessons all student athletes learn from their sport is bigger than the sport. Accountability, passion, respectfulness, a never give up mentality, and the will to succeed on and off the court.
1. We used a place mat and baking sheet for the cookies.
2. The five things I learned from the food photography video are: point of view of camera is important, A graphic approach emphasis line shape color and texture, with backgrounds you get to be creative, try to keep the viewer locked in one center of interest, and choice of props is important. 3. I tried to immulate the way the cookies are set up. 4. I learned that there's a lot more to food photography rather than just taking pictures of food. For example like how in the food photography video they set each cheerio specifically with milk dripped around it. 5. All restaurants but the ones I like are Olive Garden, and Red Lobster. 6. I think I was successful in creating look a like home made cookies with the place mat. I would try more different positions of the cookies. Trey Wilcher, Class of 2017, #Bowman Strong
My picture is a picture I took of cups on the outside fence of RBV that said “BOWMAN #10”. I titled this #Bowmanstrong because that was the hash tag we used to help raise money for his family. Whenever someone would tweet or talk about what happened they used that hash tag to keep the faith. To make this picture I took 3 photos using different exposures. I did not have to change the lighting or brightness in Photoshop because I like the natural light and I don’t think it need to be adjusted. I like this photo because it was a big part of my life this past year. Being an athletic trainer on the sideline as it happened it was something I will never forget. It was the scariest thing that I’ve ever seen and for a good friend to have that happen was heartbreaking. Going to the hospital to pray with the team and just wait to hear some good news. It was an experience I’ll never forget because it taught me a real valuable life lesson. Life can always change in a blink of an eye so take every opportunity with your best and always give it 100 percent because you never know when its your last. I would describe myself as a good upcoming artist with a unique taste in capturing sports moments. I have learned a lot this year and can’t wait to learn more. My career is to be a professional basketball. A normal day in my life on Game day is simple. I wake up make a big breakfast and go through my morning routine. Then after going to the gym to shoot my pre game shots, I go to the massage therapist. I get really relaxed and comfortable before my game, and have a small nutritional meal. By then its game time and I do what I love and play basketball. I choose this Celebrity because Will Smith in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is my all time favorite TV show.

1. Use a tripod! A flat surface will only allow you to shoot straight, and shooting the moon means that you'll be shooting up and constantly re-adjusting the tripod as the moon moves throughout the night.
2. Use a shutter release cord, remote or the camera's self timer if you don't have one, so that you don't move the camera when pressing the shutter release during a long exposure. 3. Use a zoom lens and zoom in as much as you can to the moon. It's okay if it's not a super fancy lens, this was shot using a 15 year old $100 lens. Focus in on the craters and details on the moon. 4. ISO 1250- 1600, so that you can use as fast a shutter speed as you can without losing detail-the longer the shutter speed, the more chances you have the camera will shake even slightly in the wind, resulting in an out of focus photograph. 5. Aperture priority of f/5.6 since you are not worried about capturing any details other then the moon. 6. Bracket your exposure, meaning over expose and underexpose the photograph from what the camera is telling you. Generally the camera will overexpose the moon, so you'll get nothing but a white blob in the sky. Use the exposure compensation button (the +/- button below the shutter release) and change the exposure to -0.5, then -1.0, then -1.5 and so on, until you start seeing detail in the moon. You may go as far as -5.0 exposure compensation to get what you need. 7. Take a fair amount of photos and keep refocusing as the night progresses. The photographs may look focused on the camera's display, but you won't really see if they're completely in focus until you upload them onto your computer screen. This photo is of Brianna wearing her regular clothes and also wearing the longhorn mascot head. It is a successful photo of variety. This picture is supposed to represent balance and it is successful. This represents proportion because it is a small tennis ball trying to get through the smaller holes. This photo represents rhythm because it is of some of the football guys jogging and it is successful because it seems active. This photograph is represents emphasis because it is a emphasis of Antonio Bowman and his #10 on the fence and shows the emphasis of support we have for him. This is Harmony because it has quality through different elements.
